Our group is involved since 1984 in the study of photodynamic
therapy of cancers and other diseases, and cancer photodetection by fluorescence
spectroscopy and imaging.
These methods are based on the administration of a selective phototoxic
and/or fluorescing dye which is used for the destruction and/or detection
of the lesion respectively.
Most of our projects are applied. Therefore,
they require close collaborations with numerous academic, clinical and
industrial partners for their success.
